Japan - Michael Page Miller

Three weeks in Japan: starting late April, 2018, we visited Tokyo (sprawling, chaotic and orderly all at once) Kyoto (with wonderful temples, shrines, and gardens), and the eighth-century capital Nara. We hiked a portion of the sacred Kumano Kodo trail, drove through steep canyons of the Iya Valley in the rain, and toured Naoshima, “the art island,” home to underground museums, contemporary installations, and outdoor sculptures.  Here are three slide shows of what we saw.
